New high-quality suites with a purist design
Die Natur rund um das Sonnwies strahlt Ruhe aus, welche auch in den Suiten, ausgestattet aus heimischen Naturmaterialien, zur Gänze spürbar ist. Unsere großzügigen neuen Suiten eignen sich auch perfekt für Mehrgenerationenurlaub. Bergblicke vom Bett aus sorgen für Vorfreude auf den Tag. Dieser beginnt mit einem genussvollen Familienfrühstück, als Stärkung für allerlei Erlebnisse im Schnee.
Everything directly at the resort
All winter activities are located directly at the resort and can therefore be experienced in the utmost comfort. In the in-house SkiRental, the latest ski equipment from the brands AK, Head and POC is available for young and old. In addition, ski courses can be booked at the Sonnwies Ski School for all ages and needs. Peter and his team of more than 10 ski instructors are always on hand to offer advice. The ski boots can be strapped on in the warmth, as the ski lift is just a few steps away from the hotel. On the way there you will meet some of our farm animals - the ponies and alpacas. After a small bridge in the direction of the forest, the view opens up onto our own ski slope with a newly designed ski park.

Gourmet enjoyment on our sun terrace
After exciting skiing fun, young and old alike look forward to an enjoyable lunch. In the afternoon, it's particularly cozy on our sun terrace with unobstructed mountain views, accompanied by delicious hot drinks and homemade desserts from our patisserie. Warm winter drinks are also available at our winter market directly on the terrace with carousel and sheep.
A new place for moments of peace and inspiring exchange
The new spacious lobby is a retreat that invites you to linger and relax. With a large fireplace in the center, surrounded by comfortable seating, young and old can enjoy the view of the impressive mountains. Listen to the soothing crackle of the fire, watch the snow fall or simply spend precious time with the family. The perfect place to enjoy the day, relax and make new friends.
Winter days with wonderful variety
Winter is varied and so are the activities around the Sonnwies. In addition to the hotel's own ski lift, there is a groomed toboggan slope and an ice skating rink right next to the resort. As part of our professional childcare, there is a daily changing children's program with unique activities, many of which take place directly in nature. Building a snowman, riding our ponies, painting on the easel, working with wood, crafting with natural materials or cooking in the manufactory. Not forgetting the many activities on the farm, when the little ones help our farmer with his daily work - feeding the animals, mucking out the barn, looking for eggs, driving the tractor and much more. Of course, there are also many traditional winter traditions in South Tyrol - we would also like to bring these closer to the families as part of our care. We bake cookies, make Christmas decorations, open the Advent calendar and light the Advent wreath and the newly designed theater invites you to atmospheric movie nights.
Inroom spa and warming water world
We also owe the element of water deep relaxation and recreation in winter. Our heated pools with mountain views, the world of slides, spa treatments with natural cosmetics and in-room wellness with pools, saunas and bathtubs in our suites ensure this.
Nature on a plate
The Sonnwies nature philosophy can be experienced throughout the hotel, including in our cuisine. As an introduction to the 5-course dinner, our guests can enjoy homemade farmer's butter, homemade bread and a wild herb salad bowl. A special feature is the unique wine selection, stored in perfectly tempered cellars at the lowest point of the hotel. In winter, we also offer very special culinary experiences, such as the family fondue. For the little ones, we offer special children's menus that leave nothing to be desired. At the end of the day there is a Meet&Greet with Ferdi, after singing and dancing together, your eyes fall closed, filled with experiences and anticipation for the next day.
