We have been welcoming families from all over the world to the Sonnwies for almost 2 decades now. We have always set ourselves the goal of constantly developing to offer our guests the best services and to cater to the special needs of young and old to perfection. In 2024 we are going one step further again: there are new highlights to experience.

Kidsclub with pure natural materials
An extensive and unique children's and baby program is included during your stay. Countless outdoor activities take place as well as playing, crafting, dancing and climbing in the spacious KidsClub on over 10,000m². This will be given a new look from December 15. High-quality, local natural materials are used in all rooms, such as wooden floors made of oak, seating areas and reading corners made of linen and generous sheep's wool carpets. The rooms all have access to the garden and are flooded with natural light. In addition, the children's and baby areas are equipped exclusively with toys made of wood and sustainable materials.
Luxury Family Suite Mountain
In our rooms and suites, we do not rely on fast-moving trends, but create rooms with high-quality purism that are specially tailored for families. We have opened the door to nature so that it can unfold freely in our living environments. The new Luxury Family Suite Mountain is made from local mountain spruce and has an oak floor and the finest fabrics. Here, young and old will find well-deserved rest after wonderful adventures in nature. The bright 2-room suite with panoramic mountain views offers a cozy living area with a family couch and a separate children's area with a bunk bed that can accommodate up to three children. Absolute highlights are the free-standing designer bathtub in the living area and the south-facing balcony with family daybed.
Even more comfort in the SPA
The Family SPA area is also being redesigned and now guarantees even more comfort, retreat options and water fun. Instead of moving in, a new children's stainless steel pool is being created and the new floor ensures a bright and uniform feeling of space. After having fun in the pool, young and old can relax on the spacious family daybeds, enjoy the mountain view or find time to leaf through beautifully illustrated children's books.
