Nature as a teacher: Embedded in the South Tyrolean Mountain landscape, surrounded by fertile meadows and majestic forests. The Sonnwies is in the heart of nature. So how could we do else than to live nature with all senses. It is precisely this attraction to nature that we would like to pass on to our guests. In winter, in addition to the playground, there is an 800 m long drag lift for small skiers, the toboggan slide, the ice rink, the ski school with children's ski courses, and our own outdoor children's entertainment programs in summer and winter make the holiday even more exciting.

In front of the Sonnwies family hotel, nature begins to let off steam with 10,000 sqm of play area in summer, which turns into a beginner's lift for skiing in winter. You won't get bored in the Kinderhotel Sonnwies in a hurry. 10,000 sqm of well-secured and TÜV-tested adventure playgrounds in the outdoor area far away from any thoroughfare and near the edge of the forest allow safe and harmless play.

Experience and understand animals and nature up close

The Sonnwies is characterized by a well thought-out and particularly nature-oriented children's program. It is of great concern to us that children spend as much time as possible in the great outdoors and get to know and understand the exciting processes on our farm, in the gardens and in the forest first hand. The little ones experience the many tasks with animals in the midst of nature. Help us feed our special breeds of animals and tend our extensive pleasure gardens. In this way they playfully learn about the daily routine on our organic farm, at the foot of the UNESCO World Natural Heritage Dolomites, and take home very special experiences and memories.

Even the wildest romp enthusiasts are tired in the evening at the Kinderhotel Sonnwies: with the bouncy belt, giant trampoline and hanging ropeway, they can defy the force of gravity. The bouncy belt around the belly and loopings, high up on the giant trampoline, or riding the suspended cable car from one end to the other at breakneck speed. On the 10,000 sqm play area in front of the Sonnwies family hotel, there is enough space for equipment that children otherwise only dream of. Just the right thing to get rid of excess child power. Venture from the indoor climbing hall up to the bizarre UNESCO World Natural Heritage Dolomites! Whether in our children's animation programs, in the indoor climbing hall or in the Dolomite rock: climbing is the order of the day at the Sonnwies family hotel. For the little ones we have climbing equipment in the children's club, the older ones can compete on the hotel's own climbing wall. It is the highlight and offers different routes and levels of difficulty. The highlight of every holiday is conquering the Peitler Kofel: our local mountain in Lüsen. Helmet, rope, and hook are ready for this in any case!

The round leather has its permanent place at the Sonnwies family hotel. Children love nothing more than an exciting football match, dodgeball, or volleyball on holiday. At the Sonnwies family hotel there are several ball games areas, a 20 x 14 m gym and a large sand football pitch. Ideal for practice matches among like-minded people and for the derby against the dads!

NATURAL BATHING POND LÜSEN

Bathing and splashing in the natural pond

Nestled in a peaceful forest landscape, filled with spring water from the Lüsner mountains and not a bit of additives. The natural bathing pond in Lüsen is a self-cleaning organic natural pond whose recreational potential should be experienced. Whoever is a guest at Hotel Sonnwies may visit the natural bathing pond in Lüsen at any time free of charge, probably one of the most beautiful organic water ponds you can imagine. Over 800 sqm of water surface, a great 41 m long giant slide, regeneration and children's pools welcome the visitors. The water world, built on purely biological self-purification, guarantees healthy bathing. Spacious sunbathing lawns and quiet spots invite you to cuddle up with your family.
