At Sonnwies, the focus is not just on experiencing tradition and nature—it’s about truly immersing in them. Our weekly Farm Day provides a wonderful opportunity to experience South Tyrolean traditions up close. During our guided garden tour, both young and old can discover how fresh harvest products grow and enjoy tasting them afterward.
A truly special experience is our weekly Farm Day, where we bring traditional South Tyrolean customs to life for the whole family. Highlights include a guided garden tour with a tasting of fresh harvest products, up-close encounters with our alpacas, traditional music, roasted chestnuts, and freshly prepared Kaiserschmarrn made in our very own workshop.
Surrounded by expansive gourmet gardens, Sonnwies is the ideal place to introduce children to all stages of the food cycle in a playful and engaging way: sowing, harvesting, processing, and tasting. This helps them develop an early understanding of where real food comes from and the "Farm to Table" concept. As part of the children's program, we offer weekly guided tours of our organically designed Culinary Garden, where kids can actively participate and experience sustainable agriculture firsthand.

The Family Nature Culinary experience is included throughout the entire stay, offering regional and seasonal dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner—reflecting the vibrant colors and rich flavors of autumn. Fresh produce from our in-house Culinary Garden, such as crisp pumpkins, aromatic herbs, and juicy salads, goes straight from the field to the plate, fully embracing the "Farm to Table" concept. Special dietary needs for babies and children are also carefully catered to. Our seasonal theme days and exclusive selection of wines complete this gourmet experience, allowing guests to fully savor the essence of autumn.
