All you need is a few materials and a love of crafting. With a little patience and care when folding, you can create particularly beautiful angels. They are perfect as tree decorations or gift tags and can be made in different sizes.

Christmas angel made of paper
During the Advent season, all kinds of Christmas decorations are made as part of our children's program. The magical angels are folded out of paper and make lovely decorations for the Christmas tree or a creative gift.
What you need
- 2 sheets of paper
(scraps of wrapping paper, old book pages, old sheet music, sandwich, tracing or baking paper, etc. are also suitable here)
- Scissors (zigzag scissors are also optional)
- Glue or double-sided adhesive tape
- Wooden bead
- Black pen to draw on the face
- Thread for hanging (approx. 20 cm) or thin wire
How to make
1. Fold the sheet on edge in the accordion fold and repeat this step with the second sheet.
2. Hold the two folded leaves together with the edge and fold the top 5 centimeters to the side. These folded parts will become the angel's wings.
3. Place the two ends of a string between the two folded sheets and glue them together carefully to make sure that the string is well secured.
4. Glue the two side parts (the wings) along the outer edges of the angel's body.
5. Now thread a nice wooden ball onto the string and hang the angel by attaching the string to a suitable place.
